La Fonda de Cal Fuxet: a unique experience
Enjoy the village of Aransa, its surroundings and the traditional gastronomy of the region of La Cerdanya.
la fonda de cal fuxet, AN UNFORGETTABLE STAY
La Fonda de Cal Fuxet is located in Aransa, a small village in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees.
Cal Fuxet is a restored 18th century farmhouse with four en-suite bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, a traditional Ceretan “era” (courtyard) and a terrace.
Seasonal cuisine where traditional dishes combine perfectly with more daring dishes that give a different perspective to traditional mountain cuisine.
The menu is affordable but of high quality, with dishes that vary daily and a menu of specialities for the most exquisite palates.
Aransa is a village located in the westernmost part of the Cerdanya region: surrounded by mountains, forests, peaks, lakes and paths where you can lose track of time.
Away from the noise but close enough to other larger towns and cities such as Bellver, Puigcerdá, La Seu d’Urgell or even the neighbouring countries of Andorra and France.
Cal Fuxet has been a pioneer in the area, committed for many years to green and sustainable energies as well as prioritising the use of local products.
We use biomass and solar tubes to provide the heating in our facilities. Both systems work close to each other to meet the maximum efficiency and confort.
In addition, in 2021 we have installed photovoltaic panels to generate our own electricity. In this way, we will continue to move towards a more sustainable environment.
